Tom Petrie's Early Reminiscences of Early Queensland is a truly fascinating and exciting read. Tom's father was the appointed Superintendent at Brisbane in the mid 1800s, Tom became respected among the local aboriginals and had the priviledge of interacting with them. His daughter created this book from a collection of his notes, articles, memoirs and the like, and in 1904 it came to publish.
