John Oxley - Moreton Bay - March/April 1823

This document is from the 'Narrative of Mr. Oxley's Expedition To Survey Port Curtis and Moreton Bay (3) - Sydney to Moreton Island, 21 March - 15 April 1823' narrated by John Uniacke. Mr Uniacke observes the culture, traditions, and behaviours of the local natives and narrates it splendidly. Recording interesting facts not only about their methods but also the manner in which they did things and comparing to other natives in Australia. He summarized the tribe well and with the limited time he had, recorded as much information as he could afford.
